Prešernova družba corp. was founded in 1953. It is the second largest publishing house in Slovenia.The "Prešernova družba" has always achieved very large editions regarding the Slovenian book market. The most popular book collection published annually is PREŠERNOVA KOLEDARSKA ZBIRKA (The Preseren's Annual Collection). Other edition fields are:

-          health and fitness

-          food

-          home & gardening

-          reference and encyclopedias (the serie "Hundred of Slovene..." - "Sto slovenskih...")

-          books for children

Prešernova družba corp. has more than 100 regular and more than 200 part-time employees.  The main activities are publishing, selling and distribution of books, computer engineering, selling slovene printing capacities.
